Q3 2022 Performance of Top RTS Apps on Android in Latin America

In the third quarter of 2022, the real-time strategy (RTS) gaming category experienced notable performances on the Android platform in Latin America. Data from Sensor Tower offers a closer look at how the top five RTS applications fared during this period.

Clash Royale by Supercell saw a consistent user base with weekly active users hovering around 21 to 23 million throughout the quarter. The game's downloads were in the range of about 190k to over 320k, while revenue peaked at around 226k in early August before settling to about 80k by the end of September.

Art of War: Legions from Fastone Games HK demonstrated a spike in downloads reaching almost 44k in early August and weekly active users peaked at over 270k in the same month. Revenue for the game varied, with the highest at nearly 16k in mid-September.

Riot Games, Inc's TFT: Teamfight Tactics maintained a steady number of weekly active users, starting at over 300k and ending the quarter with around 278k. Downloads remained consistent with around 10k to 13k per week. The game's revenue saw a significant jump to over 11k in mid-September.

PONOS Corporation's The Battle Cats showed a stable weekly active user count, maintaining around 130k to 145k users. Download numbers were relatively consistent, with a slight increase to over 27k in late September. Revenue saw an uptick in mid-September, reaching over 10k.

Empire Takeover by LOVEGAME HK had a challenging quarter with no downloads recorded after late July. However, the game's active user base gradually decreased from around 27k to 16k by the end of the quarter. Despite this, revenue showed a positive trend with nearly 10k in the last week of September.
